Men and women look to the United States of America to build a new life for themselves and their children based on self-government. As Americans who legally became citizens, started businesses and families, we know if we lose the freedom to self-govern, there is no place to escape. As Ronald Reagan said, America is the last stand on earth.
Three Rules of Self-Government
Government policies should support Americans so they can follow three simple rules to launch themselves into the middle class (Brookings Institute):
- At least finish high school.
- Get a full-time job.
- Wait until age 21 to get married and have children.
Preserve the Vision of the Founders
George Mason, the Father of the Bill of Rights: "In all our associations; in all our agreements let us never lose sight of this fundamental maxim — that all power was originally lodged in, and consequently is derived from, the people."
When the People choose to be governed by others, we lose our freedom. We educate Americans about the qualities that make America unique so they exercise their freedom in the daily lives and businesses rather than abdicate their freedom to someone else.
